BEGINNER SEWING I
This introduction to sewing will teach basic
sewing machine operation using, first paper then one of the
most forgiving fabrics on the market, fleece.
These comfortable and stylish, pull-on, fleece pants are
perfect for everyone.
3 consecutive weeks, 3-hr sessions

Beginner Sewing II
(Pattern suggestions: Simplicity 2314 Butterick 5466, 3134)
Learn to sew and enjoy it! First timers learn to read,
lay out & cut a purchased skirt pattern. You will: insert a
zipper, learn about seams and seam finishes, attach the waistband, and
put in a hem. Learn the basics so you can get started with any
sewing project. Class fee: $140
6 consecutive weeks, 2-hr sessions
STEP BEYOND BEGINNER
For those of you with some sewing knowledge who
want an intermediate class--this is it! Learn to sew a
basic dress, blouse or shirt. Tackle new issues, such as cuffs,
collar, buttons & buttonholes, darts, etc. Build on current skills and
learn new skills.
Class fee: $140. 6 consecutive weeks, 2-hour sessions.
